- At least three years of professional experience in communications marketing PR or a related field
- Ability to write warmly and compellingly for different audiences
- Experience of supporter or donor communications newsletters or stewardship campaigns
- Understanding of how to gather and present impact evidence effectively
- Confidence working independently and managing workload remotely
- Genuine care for older people and motivation to use professional skills

Day to day
- Support the production and distribution of a regular prayer letter to hundreds of supporters
- Gather and organise impact stories and volunteer experiences for reports funding applications and communications
- Write personalised thank you cards for volunteers and donors and provide flexible remote administrative support
- Assist with supporter newsletters donor communications events mailing postage and Gift Aid processing
