Requirements
- 3 to 6 years in communications PR or industry relations
- Experience in a technically complex or regulated sector such as mining energy heavy industry pharma medical devices aerospace or similar
- A track record of earned media with the pitches behind it
- Experience owning conference presence end to end including budget
- Excellent writing with the ability to be precise and compelling at the same time
- Comfort working independently setting priorities and advising when something should not be said that way
- Self-direction in a remote role
- Genuine willingness to learn the mining domain
Nice to have

Day to day
- Build relationships with reporters and editors across mining trade press resource-sector financial media and relevant technology outlets
- Write and place press releases pitches technical bylines and executive commentary that are precise and compelling
- Prepare founders and technical leads for interviews panels and analyst conversations while tracking coverage and inbound press
