Requirements
- Active SC security clearance
- Proven experience in communications lead or internal communications role
- Experience delivering communications strategies for large-scale transformation programmes
- Strong experience creating communication plans content calendars and stakeholder engagement strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating emails intranet articles FAQs briefings presentations and user guidance
- Ability to simplify complex technical or business information
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive leadership
- Strong stakeholder management relationship-building and influencing skills
- Experience measuring and reporting on communication effectiveness
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Experience in public sector government defence or regulated environments highly desirable
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Microsoft Purview information protection or data classification programmes advantageous

Day to day
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive communications strategy for a high-profile data classification and labelling programme.
- Create clear targeted messaging that explains labels why they matter and what actions users need to take.
- Work across multiple stakeholder groups to produce engaging communications that drive awareness understanding and compliance.
- Partner with programme teams leadership technical stakeholders and end users to keep messaging consistent timely and aligned to business goals.
