Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of professional communications public relations public affairs or related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Communications Public Relations Journalism Marketing or related field
- Experience supporting federal government agencies healthcare organizations or highly regulated institutions
- Familiarity with federal communications policies clearance workflows and Section 508 compliance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA PIV credential and pass a VA background investigation
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States
- Proficiency drafting and editing press releases media statements and social media content with writing samples

Day to day
- Develop strategic communications initiatives that educate stakeholders about AI adoption in federal healthcare.
- Craft clear public-facing content such as press releases social media campaigns and media responses for Veterans clinicians and the public.
- Coordinate with leadership subject matter experts and design teams to deliver compliant multimedia communications products and track performance metrics.
