Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications or related field
- Five years of experience in an aviation related field
- Experience in air carrier operations military aviation air traffic control instrument procedure development or flight standardization board pilots
- Bachelor's degree may be waived with eight years of relevant experience
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident with minimum 3 years of U.S. residency
- Public Trust approval
Day to day
- Develop and edit technical documentation, reports, guidance materials, manuals, and stakeholder-facing products.
- Translate complex aviation, operational, and regulatory information into clear content for Government, industry, and public audiences.
- Support technical communications and outreach materials that advance aviation safety, NAS performance, and emerging technologies, while improving clarity, usability, consistency, and accessibility.
