Requirements
- 5+ years in insurance compliance regulatory affairs or a control function
- Multi-state P&C licensing fluency with surplus lines experience
- Track record building owning or scaling a compliance function
- Hands-on experience with TCPA CAN-SPAM state telemarketing rules and high-volume outbound enforcement
- Experience with DOI complaints market conduct exams and E&O posture
- Proactive regulator engagement with state DOIs and surplus lines authorities
- Comfortable working directly with a founder/CEO
- Strong written communication with low ego and high judgment

Day to day
- Audit the full regulatory surface across channels lists sequences licensing matrix and complaint exposure
- Build and maintain producer licensing surplus lines and growth clearance controls that help the business move quickly and safely
- Run complaint intake incident readiness regulator engagement and weekly compliance instrumentation with the CEO
