Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of truancy experience
- Two years of experience gathering and providing data
- Clearance Certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission
- Knowledge of state and federal K-12 education laws
- Knowledge of school compliance procedures
- Familiarity with online learning environments
- Proficiency in MS Excel MS Word MS PowerPoint and G-Suite
- Ability to read and interpret student academic data and educational reports
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong critical thinking planning and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and private transportation
- Ability to travel 10% of the time

Day to day
- Ensures school-age children meet attendance and compliance requirements by investigating absences and academic completion issues
- Monitors attendance login activity engagement and progress data to identify risks and implement timely interventions
- Communicates with families staff counselors administration and external agencies to resolve compliance concerns and support documentation needs
