- 1-2 years of writing experience, preferably in news
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of skiing culture
- First-hand experience as a snowboarder
- Vast knowledge of key players in the skiing community
- A genuine interest in outdoor adventure/snow sports
Nice to have

- Skiing-obsessed
Day to day
- Produce quick-turnaround, 350-word articles daily
- Take on longer-form, evergreen assignments
- Curate content for Powder's Instagram and social media pages
- Pitch article ideas daily to editors
- Work with Evergreen Editor on longer-form articles
- Keep the editorial calendar updated
- Accept and apply feedback from editors
- Attend weekly editorial and traffic meetings
