What the job involves

• Prepare timely execution of various types of agreements according to policies and procedures including Confidentiality Agreements Consulting Agreements and Research Collaboration Agreements
• Negotiate and draft Inter Institutional and other agreements
• Maintain departmental agreement database and ensure compliance with regulations
• Resolve contractual issues and assist in development of policies and procedures
• Collaborate with hospital personnel and external sponsors in preparation and submission of agreements
• Identify problematic language in agreements and escalate negotiations when required
• Maintain active communication with stakeholders and function as departmental liaison
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and generate workflow reports
• Develop and conduct contract orientations workshops and presentations
• Enhance knowledge of best practices and negotiation policies through ongoing development
