Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree
  • NCMA / CFCM certification (a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Federal contract RFP/RFB, compliance, or a similar role
  • Expert knowledge of GSA schedules, government contracting processes, and DFAR/FAR
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work well with people, possess a high energy level, and be flexible managing priorities
  • Proficiency in Office 365
  • SAP ERP (or other ERP system), experience with Salesforce CRM (or other)

What the job involves

  • Join Zeiss Group as a Contracts Compliance Specialist (Federal), supporting government customers, related contracts lead opportunities (bids), and ensure compliance with applicable reporting requirements (e.g.: GSA). You will offer strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Support the development and analysis of available opportunities, relevant performance, and contracts compliance information. Expect to have regular interactions with Zeiss Group Business Service Legal and Compliance team. This is a fulltime, 100% remote position.
  • Manage and maintain contracts with various government and institutional entities. Ensure compliance with specific regulations and contract terms, including execution of control reports. Facilitate internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and confirm accuracy of representations and certifications for organization. Ensure compliance with contract and contracting requirements.
