Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting finance or a related field
- Active CPA strongly preferred
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of close and financial reporting
- Experience in Controller Assistant Controller or senior accounting leadership within SaaS subscription data or technology businesses
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Direct experience with billing accounts receivable deferred revenue accounts payable payroll accounting cash management and external audits or reviews
- Strong systems aptitude with ERP general ledger billing revenue and connected finance systems
- Ability to design internal controls document processes and reduce key-person dependencies
- Experience supporting lender investor Board or diligence processes preferred
- Excellent judgment attention to detail organization and communication skills
- Willingness to work hands-on while improving the operating model

Day to day
- Own the monthly quarterly and annual accounting close with accuracy and speed
- Prepare GAAP financial statements management reports and variance explanations for leadership Board investors and lenders
- Oversee billing collections revenue recognition cash management compliance systems and accounting controls in a hands-on role
