Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing programming commissioning and troubleshooting functional safety and combustion control systems
- Hands-on expertise with GE Mark VIe and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC platforms
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 85 IEC 61508 61511 ISA 84.00.01 combustion safety burner operation interlock design SIL verification and SIS validation
- Experience developing control narratives cause-and-effect diagrams SAMA logic FAT SAT procedures I/O lists wiring diagrams and system documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering control systems instrumentation or a related field
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally between the U.S. and Mexico without restriction
- Approximately 30–50% travel to Monterrey Mexico and customer sites across North America

Day to day
- Design and implement Burner Management Systems and combustion control solutions for multi-burner utility boilers HRSGs and industrial applications
- Program safety interlocks startup and shutdown sequences and integrate control logic with field devices
- Support commissioning startup PHA HAZOP reviews and collaborate closely with engineering operations and maintenance teams
