Requirements
- 7+ years of law firm and/or in-house commercial or transactional experience
- Strong understanding of commercial B2B laws SaaS eCommerce data privacy data security and intellectual property
- CIPP/US certification required
- JD required
- Must be in good standing in New York or able to obtain good standing
- Proven ability to manage outside counsel effectively
- Strong communication skills for non-lawyers
- Comfort working in fast-paced unstructured environments with a collaborative hands-on approach
- Experience with legal operations or process improvement a plus

Day to day
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements across SaaS eCommerce and partnership deals.
- Partner with revenue product and business teams to create scalable contract templates playbooks and negotiation workflows.
- Advise on data privacy data security intellectual property and compliance matters while translating legal risks into practical business guidance.
- Support corporate governance vendor management IP portfolio activities and process improvements that strengthen efficiency and reduce risk.
