Who you are
- Qualified with a valid Solicitors' Practicing Certificate and 5 years+ PQE.
- Experience supporting technology transactions within a law firm or in-house.
- Understanding of intellectual property laws, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act, EU Digital Services Act), and relevant technology-related regulations.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proactive approach to generating a further pipeline of clients.
What the job involves
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients in the technology sector.
- Advise clients on technology-related legal matters, including IP, data privacy, cybersecurity, software licensing, regulatory compliance.
- Develop business and acquire clients within technology law.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and build relationships.
