Remote Corporate Technology Lawyer Job in Greater Manchester, UK Kingsley Wood

Who you are

• Qualified with a valid Solicitors' Practicing Certificate and 5 years+ PQE.
• Experience supporting technology transactions within a law firm or in-house corporation.
• Understanding of intellectual property laws, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act and EU Digital Services Act), and relevant technology-related regulations.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong client following is not essential however a proactive approach to generating a further pipeline of clients is required.

• Providing legal counsel and guidance to clients in the technology sector.
• Responsible for business development and client acquisition within the realm of technology law.
• Advising clients on IP, data privacy, cybersecurity, software licensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Building lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs.
