Who you are

  • Qualified with a valid Solicitors' Practicing Certificate and 5 years+ PQE.
  • Experience supporting technology transactions within a law firm or in-house corporation.
  • Understanding of intellectual property laws, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act and EU Digital Services Act), and relevant technology-related regulations.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong client following is not essential however a proactive approach to generating a further pipeline of clients is.

Desirables

  • qualified Solicitor
  • 5 years+ PQE in tech law
  • tech transactions experience
  • knowledge of IP and data protection laws


What the job involves

  • Providing legal counsel and guidance to clients in the technology sector.
  • Advising clients on legal matters related to technology, including IP, data privacy, cybersecurity, software licensing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their needs and build lasting relationships.
  • Business development and client acquisition within the realm of technology law.
