Experience in technical customer support technical writing system administration or related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 3+ years experience in the related roles OR equivalent experience
Experience in customer advocacy and/or technical implementation systems management
Experience in Linux system administration with tools like Docker systemd openssl
Experience with a production-level virtualization platform or cloud provider like VMware ESX KVM AWS Azure
Desirables
Proficiency in applications in the web app stack like HAProxy Nginx MySQL Unicorn
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with large complex customer accounts in a technical capacity

What the job involves
Troubleshoot tickets of varying complexity with high-quality replies. Provide training and guide new team members within the squad. Act as a liaison between customers, Engineering, and Account teams, resolving end user issues and developing new features for GitHub.
Identify and propose areas of improvement for team processes and customer experiences. Share functional knowledge with the team through activities like ticket reviews and general conversations. Manage non-standard working hours, including weekends and holidays, as part of a team-wide rotation.
