Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of HTSUS classification and 19 CFR regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • LCB or CCS a plus
  • SAP S4 experience a plus

Day to day

  • Support US import compliance by classifying new products accurately and preparing binding ruling requests when Customs guidance is needed
  • Maintain classification data broker communications KPI tracking and compliance programs while coordinating closely with internal teams external partners and government agencies
  • Advise stakeholders on customs matters audit entries resolve post-entry issues and contribute to duty savings through tariff engineering free trade programs and regulatory research
