Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical school or military training preferred
  • Technical certification in mechanical or electrical systems preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in data centers IT support facilities or other technical environments
  • Understanding of electrical mechanical and or HVAC systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs climb ladders and work in tight spaces
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Flexibility to work shifts weekends holidays and on call rotations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams schematics and service manuals
  • Familiarity with safety standards and protocols OSHA NFPA

Day to day

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical mechanical HVAC and fire life safety systems in a fast paced data center environment.
  • Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance using MOPs SOPs EOPs and CMMS documentation to keep infrastructure reliable and compliant.
  • Respond quickly to alarms abnormal conditions and incidents while supporting troubleshooting root cause analysis and customer and vendor needs.
