Requirements

  • SQL development skills and experience
  • Knowledge of performance tuning in SQL environment
  • Knowledge in Kimball Data warehousing concepts a plus
  • Knowledge of DataFactory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Stored Procedures, ETL and Loading large amounts of data
  • SQL skills required on Windows and/or Unix platform
  • 1+ years as Data warehouse developer or tester or 2+ years as an ETL developer or tester
  • Experience with DW/relational database executing complex SQL queries
  • 2+ years of experience with data integration using ETL tools such as SSIS, DataFactory, or other data integration related tools
  • 7+ years of relevant experience (less years required with degrees)

Nice to have

  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with Analysis Services
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Experience with variety of SQL technologies (MySQL, DB2, Oracle)

Day to day

  • Develop and maintain the integration of data for Data Warehouse product
  • Work with Data Warehouse team, business departments and management to support mission critical Data Warehouse product
  • Align the ETL environments with operational and business needs and strategies, ensuring data quality, load metrics and ETL Rules
  • Develop and maintain data integration infrastructure, provide data interfaces with external databases, and support report production
  • Assess business needs for new data integration functionality and manage data integration operations
  • Conduct technical analytic work
