Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering, including internships or academic projects
- Strong foundational SQL skills including complex joins reconciliation and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Databricks Delta Lake and Azure SQL
- Basic understanding of analytical operational and API-driven data modeling
- Experience using Git DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot messy evolving enterprise data domains
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Engineering or a related field
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated data environments is highly desirable
- Azure Data Engineer Associate or related certification is preferred

Day to day
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and ELT pipelines across Databricks and Azure SQL.
- Build enriched data models and medallion-layer structures that improve traceability, performance, and data quality.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, product owners, vendors, and stakeholders to investigate issues, validate data, and support release readiness.
