Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science Informatics Information Systems or another quantitative field
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or similar role with technical leadership
- Expertise with AWS-native data systems including Redshift Aurora RDS PostgreSQL Glue Lambda Step Functions and MWAA-Airflow
- Strong Python and SQL experience including advanced query design and database optimization
- Experience with healthcare data such as Medical Claims and Rx Claims
- Ability to develop subject-matter expertise and partner thoughtfully with business teams
- Reliable trusted partner who delivers accurate work in a timely manner
- Passion for working with a team to improve data-driven outcomes

Day to day
- Design and maintain an AWS-cloud-native data platform that supports reliable and scalable data processing, storage, and analysis.
- Build and improve ETL pipelines that ingest, clean, transform, and deliver complex healthcare data with accuracy and security.
- Partner with product and analytics teams to translate business needs into robust data models, internal applications, and performance optimizations.
- Monitor pipeline health, tune system performance, and recommend better tools, architectures, and governance practices.
