Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in data engineering or a highly technical data analyst role
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Hands on experience with Snowflake
  • Proficiency setting up and managing Fivetran connectors
  • Experience writing and implementing dbt transformations
  • Tableau data modeling experience including calculated fields joining datasets and performance optimization
  • Experience with CI CD pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non technical audiences
  • Understanding of data modeling and best practices
  • Python scripting experience preferred
  • Interest in supporting Per Scholas mission

Day to day

  • Maintain and expand enterprise data infrastructure supporting a Snowflake Data Lake
  • Manage automated data ingestion with Fivetran and troubleshoot sync issues to keep data flowing reliably
  • Write and optimize SQL and dbt transformations to prepare accurate reporting datasets and published Tableau data sources
  • Maintain data quality security access controls and documentation to support privacy compliance and trustworthy analytics
