Requirements
- 8–12+ years in data engineering or enterprise data platform roles
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Azure
- Proven ability to design end-to-end data pipelines and architectures at scale
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform or Bicep
- Experience integrating enterprise systems including SAP GIS SCADA AMI and APIs
- Strong background in data governance reliability and regulated environments
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers

Day to day
- Own the design and evolution of scalable data pipelines and architecture across Azure and on-prem systems, ensuring performance and reliability
- Lead the modernization of a hybrid cloud and on-prem data ecosystem while shaping platform direction and technical standards
- Integrate critical enterprise systems such as SAP, GIS, SCADA, AMI, and APIs to support operational and regulatory workloads
- Implement data quality, observability, and governance frameworks that strengthen reliability and compliance in a regulated environment
