Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of SQL experience and understanding of data models
  • 4+ years of relational database design and programming experience including stored procedures functions and PL/pgSQL
  • Experience managing AWS data infrastructure including S3 RDS Kafka Lake Formation Glue Athena Quicksight and DataZone
  • Experience with systems engineering or software development using Java Javascript Python or PHP
  • Experience with modern API platform design security practices and data architectures including event-driven architecture CDC and pub/sub

Day to day

  • Design and build internal data platform capabilities that support governed access for software development and data analytics teams.
  • Partner with architects and engineering teams to develop secure scalable solutions and improve automation self-service and operational consistency.
  • Maintain existing services implement new technologies and help shape resilient compliant data platform architecture through technical guidance and mentorship.
