Requirements
- BS/BA in Mathematics Computer Science or related STEM field
- 2+ years of production-level Python development experience
- Proficiency in Python and SQL preferably MySQL
- Experience with Airflow
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience building end-to-end ETL pipelines
- Experience using REST APIs
- Experience with git CI/CD shell scripting and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Experience with web scraping and cleaning unstructured data
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts
- Strong interest in sports and sports betting with emphasis on Tennis
- Understanding of US sports including NFL NBA MLB NHL College Football and College Basketball
Day to day
- Support live production systems and triage issues during sporting events
- Architect low-latency real-time analytics systems for raw data collection feature development and endpoint production
- Build new sports betting data products and predictive offerings while integrating large complex datasets
- Develop production-grade APIs and automated sports data delivery frameworks for consumer and enterprise products
