Requirements
- 2+ years working as a Data Engineer or closely related role
- Strong Python with clear testable idiomatic code
- Advanced SQL including window functions joins and performant queries
- Conceptual understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake Redshift or BigQuery
- Comfortable working in a cloud computing environment ideally AWS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar preferred
Nice to have
- dbt experience
- Airflow experience
- ETL tool experience
- Terraform exposure
- Healthcare domain knowledge
Day to day
- Build and maintain ingestion pipelines and Python services on AWS to power analytics operations and clinical reporting.
- Develop and maintain dbt models in Snowflake with careful testing documentation and reliable data quality practices.
- Partner with BI and Analytics Engineering teams to translate ambiguous needs into dependable data engineering solutions while supporting on-call operations.
