Remote Data Quality Engineer Job in United States Pixalate

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years experience in a QA role, with a particular focus on Data QA
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Proficiency in SQL or BigQuery Standard SQL for data validation and testing
• Experience with automated UI testing tools
• Understanding of ML models and methodologies for QA’ing training data
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

What the job involves

• Play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and excellence of our products
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective testing strategies
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to understand product changes and define applicable tests
• Carry out functional, integration, and regression testing focusing on data testing
• Use queries or other tools to validate data, verify transformation rules, and conduct back-end testing
• Implement automated UI testing processes using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
• Document QA procedures, ensuring the sharing of knowledge and best practices within the team
