Requirements
- Proven experience in a data science analytics or advanced analytics role
- Demonstrable consulting experience with stakeholder management and senior presentations
- Logistics or supply chain experience is essential
- Strong proficiency in Python and or R
- Solid SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI Tableau or Qlik
- Good understanding of statistical methods and or machine learning techniques relevant to operations and logistics
- Ability to quickly understand complex operational processes and constraints
- Strong problem structuring skills
- Excellent communication skills in simple business focused terms
- Comfortable facilitating workshops leading discussions and challenging assumptions constructively
- Strong commercial mindset with ability to quantify and articulate business value
Day to day
- Work closely with operations logistics and management stakeholders to understand processes pain points and strategic objectives
- Translate business questions into clear analytical use cases and project plans then present recommendations to technical and non technical audiences
- Analyse logistics and supply chain data to identify inefficiencies quantify value and build analytics machine learning and reporting solutions
- Support pilots proof of concepts and change adoption by documenting methods assumptions and solution designs
