Remote Data Scientist II Job in United States Caesars Entertainment

Who you are

• MS or PhD in quantitative field or computer science
• Graduation from top-tier program or high performance evidence
• Experience in statistical/quantitative analysis, forecasting, predictive analytics, multivariate testing, outlier analysis, or optimization algorithms
• Previous experience in a cloud environment
• 2+ years relevant experience preferred
• Python coding experience required
• SQL coding experience required
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of statistical modeling techniques and ML algorithms
• Ability to build accurate, sustainable prediction models
• Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, datasets, and architecture
• Experience working with streaming data preferred
• Strong analytical skills, and creativity in solving modeling problems
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and consensus building skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity

What the job involves

• Develop new models using creativity and modern tools to advance prediction capabilities and tackle business problems.
• Predict sport outcomes and support the Caesars Digital business unit.
• Collaborate with domain experts and data science peers to identify and enhance model opportunities.
• Manipulate large datasets to merge data across multiple sources, and design new model variables.
• Research and apply latest machine learning technologies and conduct ad hoc analyses.
