Who you are
- Ph.D. in statistics, psychometrics, data science, or related field.
- Experience in assessment or data science for K-12, especially K-8.
- Proficient in Python or R for data analysis.
- Solid understanding of Bayesian statistics, IRT, MST.
- Enthusiastic about using AI and latest technology in assessment.
- Ability to solve real-world problems and impact children's education.
Desirables
- Experience with CBM and norm referenced assessments.
- Hands-on experience with an EdTech product.
What the job involves
- You will help Amira create the next generation literacy assessment.
- Work with experts to build modern assessments.
- Manage the process of item development, review, scaling, and standards alignment using AI.
- Design and implement algorithms for data analytics and equating.
- Collaborate on studies related to assessment reliability and predictive accuracy.
- Develop responsible AI standards and maintain assessment documentation.
- Interface with school districts to ensure high-fidelity implementation.
