Remote Datacenter & IT EMEA Segment Manager Job in Slough, UK Eaton

Who you are

• Master’s degree/diploma in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering
• 10 years of experience as a leading engineer in the datacenter industry
• Proven experience in datacenter and IT industries, expertise in datacenter design and construction
• Deep knowledge of critical power chain systems
• Working knowledge of construction methods and thermal management
• Ability to convince stakeholders and drive changes
• Capability to obtain VoC from customers and partners
• Ease of working with various cultures and types of customers
• Ability to network at C level with channel partners and customers
• Proven customer interaction skills
• High public speaking ability
• Knowledge of Eaton Electricals’ product lines and market segments
• Understanding and experience with go-to-market strategies for the datacenter ecosystem
• Fluent in English

What the job involves

• Identify important sub-segments in the Data Center and IT market and map stakeholders and their key issues
• Analyze trends and changes in each segment and their impact on stakeholders
• Collaborate with BUs to align Eaton’s value propositions to these issues and act as Eaton’s thought leader externally
• Drive alliances and integrated offerings with BUs and external partners to address key issues and long-term problems
• Assist Sales in mapping key players and ensure sales forces understand the segments and their values
• Provide direction on market development activities with the segment Marcom leader
• Implement the 360-segment process to align Data Center, IT strategy, marketing, and communication plans
