Requirements

  • 5+ years in desktop engineering focusing on enterprise environments
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory and advanced GPO management
  • Expertise in Windows Hello for Business, Cisco AnyConnect, and TPM certificates
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 admin and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, VPNs, and network security
  • Experience with SCCM, Intune and scripting languages like PowerShell
  • Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to have

  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar

Day to day

  • Design, deploy, diagnose, update and manage Windows 10/11 desktop environments.
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory environments, including user and group management and creating GPOs.
  • Implement Windows Hello for Business including configuring biometrics, PINs, and MFA and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Manage Cisco AnyConnect VPN solutions ensuring secure remote access and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Manage deployment and renewal of TPM certificates, ensuring integration with security protocols.
  • Ensure desktop systems comply with corporate security policies and industry best practices.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for desktop-related issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures and generate reports on performance and compliance.
