Requirements
- Previous DevRel developer marketing or developer education experience at a developer-first infrastructure company
- Technical background with ability to write code against an API and read technical architecture
- Experience engaging directly with developers and turning feedback into actionable product insight
- Experience building or growing a developer community and understanding community health
- Understanding of how developers evaluate and adopt new tools including AI assistants
- Track record of technical writing that developers read and share
- Natural inclination to publish thoughts in public through guides opinions or technical takes
- Point of view on realtime infrastructure and AI development patterns with technical depth
- Strong cross-functional instincts and comfort collaborating across Product Engineering and commercial teams

Day to day
- Build a feedback loop between developers and Ably by speaking with practitioners and turning their signals into clear input for Product and Engineering.
- Develop a genuine presence in the Temporal and Vercel communities by contributing useful knowledge and engaging in technical discussion.
- Create technical guides and demos that help developers solve real production problems with Ably AI Transport and improve documentation quality for developers and AI assistants.
