Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Software Electrical or Electronics Engineering or comparable field
  • 2+ years hands on experience with distributed systems and network architectures
  • Deep knowledge of Linux and Linux internals
  • Strong Unix command line skills with Python and shell scripting experience
  • Strong understanding of systems networks and troubleshooting techniques for distributed systems
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices including continuous integration continuous delivery and automated testing
  • Experience installing configuring and troubleshooting Linux servers in production environments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changing business needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform job relatively independently

Nice to have

  • Low latency systems experience

Day to day

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and maintain infrastructure supporting MEMX platforms.
  • Monitor scalable infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments and drive improvements through automation and standardization.
  • Debug build systems improve build performance using metrics analysis and perform root cause analysis for incidents.
  • Work closely with information security to identify and mitigate software and hardware vulnerabilities in the environment.
