Requirements
- Strong hands-on AWS experience in a production environment
- Real operational experience with Kubernetes beyond deployment
- Genuine GitOps experience ideally ArgoCD
- Solid CI/CD fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Wiz or a comparable CNAPP/CSPM tool
- Comfortable scripting in Python Go or similar for automation
- Background through development or platform engineering rather than traditional sysadmin or IT support
- Energetic about ambiguity and shaping how things get built

Day to day
- Own and mature cloud security posture across AWS using Wiz to triage tune and close exposure paths
- Work hands-on with Kubernetes to run and secure clusters including workload identity network policy and runtime security
- Build and improve GitOps and CI/CD workflows with ArgoCD and infrastructure as code at the core
- Automate vulnerability management and CVE pipeline processes to reduce manual overhead
- Write scripts and tooling in Python Go or similar to support security and platform automation
- Support compliance and audit work alongside the CISO as the business matures its security posture
