Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English
- Interest in helping people solve challenging technical problems
- 5-8 years working with customers in pre-sales customer success or customer/product support roles
- Deep understanding of developer workflows and build systems including CI/CD environments such as GitHub Actions GitLab Bitbucket and Azure DevOps
- Exposure to application security vulnerability management and static analysis programs
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science computer engineering similar technical field boot-camp completion or equivalent practical experience

Day to day
- Become the technical expert for customers and help integrate Semgrep into their development environments
- Demonstrate product capabilities deliver successful proof of concepts and educate customers on secure best practices
- Identify security vulnerabilities and explain how the platform improves speed accuracy and flexibility for application security teams
- Champion customer needs internally and reduce adoption friction through automation process improvements and external content
