Requirements
- 8–12+ years in finance or accounting operations
- Experience designing systems for complex high-volume transaction or payments engines
- Strong systems and process design skills with real accounting fluency in close controls and GAAP
- Ability to set and enforce standards for AR AP and payroll
- Track record building in fast-scaling messy environments
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Comfort partnering with data teams on SQL and warehouse-backed reconciliation
- Experience managing outsourced accounting or finance providers

Day to day
- Own the finance operating system end to end, re-architecting brittle spreadsheet and Airtable processes into scalable auditable systems for commissions marketing co-op and reconciliation.
- Set and enforce finance standards controls and source-of-truth rules that keep payments financials and reporting accurate from upstream data through close and reporting.
- Direct and review outsourced close work while strengthening internal accounting and controllership capability including AR AP payroll standards and recurring leadership reporting.
