Who you are

  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years in customer engagement with industry-leading domestic/global brands
  • Media planning experience at a media agency, premium sports, and/or entertainment property
  • Experience and knowledge of CRM and digital/social engagement platforms
  • Developing and managing successful direct-to-consumer email/CRM programs
  • Ability to manage complex issues and projects calmly and simultaneously
  • Knowledge of non-profit, philanthropic, and fundraising best practices
  • Strong operational skills including talent and budget management
  • Communicate with stakeholders, negotiate influence, and build rapport
  • Develop marketing activation and brand-building programs
  • Understanding of the media landscape domestically and internationally
  • Passion for the competitive sports industry

What the job involves

  • The Director, Media Strategy & Planning will drive Team USA's fan engagement by developing and implementing a comprehensive media strategy.
  • This role involves overseeing the development of innovative media strategies to boost brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • The director will manage cross-functional media planning and campaigns, working with key stakeholders to optimize media channels and deliver business outcomes.
