Remote Director of Development Strategy and Support Job in UK Sony Interactive Entertainment

Who you are

• Minimum of 8+ years of games industry experience in a leadership role in game production or development project management with a very solid understanding of the entire game development lifecycle
• Game development and publishing experience covering traditional single player games as well as GaaS/Live Service games post-launch
• Ability to review and analyze development stage deliverables; creative, financial, and business related and determining if a wide range of different games are tracking as expected and according to schedule
• Familiarity with a wide range of tools for validating assumptions about a game development project such as user research and playtesting, using metrics and forecasts from comparable projects
• Excellent communicator with a track record of engaging partners across multiple departments and teams, balancing diplomacy, tact, and credibility
• Strong presentation skills with experience collaborating with global teams across different time zones and all levels of the organization
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and ideally their Google Suite counterparts
• Bachelor's degree or greater
• Project Management Certification preferred

What the job involves

• Drive and manage the global portfolio title review process across PlayStation Studios, tracking and reporting on multiple projects in various development stages
• Coordinate internal reviews, assist in collecting and reviewing materials, and driving follow-up actions
• Foster positive and collaborative working relationships with development teams, executive leadership, and support groups to drive effective communication flow and review process
