Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Entry-Level candidates need internship co-op or academic project experience in power systems or electrical engineering
  • Mid-Level candidates need several years of experience in electrical engineering design industrial facilities power systems or infrastructure projects
  • Senior-Level candidates need extensive experience leading electrical engineering projects mentoring teams and managing technical deliverables
  • Knowledge of power systems engineering principles
  • Experience with electrical design software and engineering tools
  • Understanding of applicable electrical codes and industry standards
  • Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience supporting EPC industrial utility energy or infrastructure projects is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Day to day

  • Develop and review electrical engineering designs calculations drawings and specifications for power generation power delivery industrial infrastructure and energy projects
  • Prepare one-line diagrams wiring schematics equipment layouts and electrical system documentation while supporting power system studies and equipment selection
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams support procurement construction and commissioning activities and provide technical problem solving across the full project lifecycle
