Requirements
- HNC in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering or similar discipline
- Experience in ICA engineering PLCs HMIs Profibus networks and SCADA installations on large-scale water treatment works
- Good knowledge of low voltage large motor control centres and associated ICA sections
- Understanding of communications protocols including Profibus Modbus and Ethernet IP
- Experience of contractor management and setting people to work safely
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-discipline team
- Full driving licence
- Knowledge and experience with WIMES and UK water industry standards

Day to day
- Provide LV Electrical and ICA engineering support for water treatment projects within the Thames Water Major Projects team.
- Review schematics control philosophies and SCADA architecture drawings and give constructive technical feedback to ensure compliance with WIMES standards.
- Carry out fault finding system configuration and site inspections while representing the company in client meetings FATs and commissioning activities.
