Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience with specialized vessels or like vessels
- Experience with navigation electronics and communication systems in a marine environment
- Demonstrated experience with SATCOM integration hardware and software implementation
- Experience performing fault current analysis and protective device coordination studies for maritime platforms
- Active Secret clearance required

Day to day
- Support Military Sealift Command engineering and design efforts for shipboard electronic systems
- Manage technical aspects of navigation machinery control electronics and satellite communications to ensure safe reliable maritime operations
- Conduct technical surveys inspection trips and sea trials and develop calculations schematics and analysis for electrical and RF systems
