Who you are

  • Must love technology and working collaboratively with brilliant people.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM or similar required.
  • Experience with Linux packaging such as Debian, RPM, Yocto necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in C, C++.
  • Able to work in a globally distributed team with self-discipline and motivation.

What the job involves

  • Design and implement Ubuntu integration for IoT and server-class hardware.
  • Work with partners to optimize the Ubuntu experience on their platforms.
  • Take a holistic approach with technical plans, testing strategies, and quality metrics.
  • Act as technical lead on complex customer engagements from cloud to edge.
  • Help customers integrate apps and optimize applications with Ubuntu Core, Desktop, and Server.
