Who you are

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science STEM or similar field.
  • Experience with Linux packaging such as Debian RPM and Yocto is necessary.
  • Able to work effectively in a globally distributed team.
  • Understanding of C and C++ programming languages.
  • Familiar with working in open source environments and understanding open source licenses.

What the job involves

  • Work across the full Linux stack from kernel to GUI.
  • Optimise Ubuntu for the latest silicon across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineers from major silicon companies to integrate new features and enhance performance.
  • Lead technical discussions and implementations in complex customer engagements.
  • Help customers integrate apps and optimize applications using Ubuntu Core Desktop and Server.
