Remote EMEA Financial Accounting Manager Job in UK CooperSurgical

Who you are

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Experience in Shared Services, Financial Accounting, and Reporting in a commercial environment
• Solid understanding of Internal Controls
• Ability to operate tactically and understand strategic direction
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders, including Commercial and Finance Leadership
• Previous experience managing a financial accounting and reporting team
• Broad knowledge of finance areas including financial systems and applications
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Revenue Recognition
• Experience in a Global/US matrix managed business is highly desirable
• Ability to facilitate forums and workshops to achieve outcomes

What the job involves

• Overseeing Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Accounts Receivable for CooperSurgical commercial entities
• Support the Accounting Director in driving strategic change and process improvement
• Deliver technical accounting support and escalate issues to commercial management and FP&A teams
• Drive efficient Financial Reporting close process and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls
• Lead a team of 3 direct reports and support in-market Finance Team for Turkey
• Collaborate with CVI Transactional Services Manager and Fixed Asset and Leasing Finance team for seamless performance
• Support new ERP systems development and implementation of MS D365 for record-to-report management
