Who you are

• Qualified and experienced employment lawyer with practising certificate and relevant professional qualifications
• Significant experience managing and delivering successful outcomes on employment law matters
• Deep knowledge of current UK employment law
• Experience of balancing commercial, legal, operational and people related aspects
• Strong commercial acumen and business-oriented approach
• Experience of implementing and driving change
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

What the job involves

• Provide employment law advice and support for risk and compliance in the UK
• Collaborate with senior HR colleagues to manage IR and complex HR matters
• Identify changes in employment law and manage their impact on Serco
• Support bid and transition teams on TUPE related matters
• Manage relationships with external legal providers and develop and deliver employment law training programmes
