Who you are

  • Qualified solicitor with a degree (preferably 2:1 or higher)
  • Relevant experience within a professional services firm is desirable
  • Ability to work unsupervised and seek supervision appropriately
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and provide pragmatic, commercial advice with technical knowledge
  • Experience in drafting documents, policies, and contracts
  • Employment Tribunal work experience needed
  • Self-starter with high initiative and motivation
  • Effective teamwork abilities
  • Ability to prioritise and manage tasks efficiently
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Empathy with clients
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • High-level IT skills
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours when required

What the job involves

  • Provide high-quality legal advice to clients via phone, email, video call, case management system, and occasionally in person
  • Develop and maintain good client relationship skills, providing advice on law, procedures, best practices, and options-based commercial advice
  • Draft contracts, handbooks, policies, letters, settlement agreements, and legal documents
