Who you are

  • Qualified Solicitor or Lawyer (CILEx) with experience in Employment Law particularly in managing employment tribunal litigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of managing a diverse workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Team-oriented comfortable working autonomously in a remote or hybrid setting.

Desirables

  • Advocacy experience
  • Exceptional credentials



What the job involves

  • Managing both contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • Handling Employment Tribunal claims for respondents, drafting ET3 responses, preparing trial bundles, and drafting witness statements.
  • Advising on TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, unfair dismissal, and other employment matters.
  • Drafting/reviewing contracts of employment, employee handbooks, and day-to-day letters/documents like disciplinary invites and outcome letters.
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships and providing tailored advice.
