What the job involves

• Build, mentor, and lead a diverse team of over 40 engineers, fostering an inclusive culture that encourages innovation and collaboration
• Oversee the complete software development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring alignment with business objectives and maintaining high standards of product excellence from ideation to deployment
• Design and implement highly scalable data platforms utilizing multi-cloud infrastructures (AWS and GCP), ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency
• Partner effectively with business, product management, and data science teams to identify opportunities and define project priorities that drive revenue growth
• Explore and integrate emerging technologies to solve complex challenges and optimize operational efficiencies, while maintaining compliance with data privacy regulations (CCPA and GDPR)
• Actively participate in coding, code reviews, and design discussions, dedicating 20-30% of your time to hands-on engineering tasks
• Conduct root-cause analysis of production issues, implement changes to meet SLAs, and optimize data usage across teams to reduce operational costs
